GroomHe married Mehitable Wyllys, daughter of Samll Wyllys and Ruth Haynes, before 1686 in Connecticut Colony, New England. She was the widow of Rev. Daniel Bissell and, as well, of Rev. Isaac Foster, Timothy's predecessor at the First Church of Hartford.6
GroomHe married Widow Howell before 1703. Timothy married a Mrs. Howell whose first name is unknown, but as she is referred to as "Mrs." she likely was Widow Howell.
(She is believed by some to be the widow of Jonathan Howell of Southhampton, Suffolk Co., Long Island, though no Jonathan Howell found to date -Dec 2017- is a likely candidate.)6

In 1663, Rev. Timothy Woodbridgearrived in Massachusetts Bay Colony, New England, with his father, Rev. John Woodbridge; John arrived on the Mary and John.8

One of 10 principal ministers of Connecticut, Timothy was authorized by the general assembly of the Connecticut Colony to found Yale College in 1699; he was a fellow of Yale 1700 - 1732; he was offered the rectorship in 1722 but didn’t accept; he was also prominent member of Saybrook Convention in 1708.9

On the 29th of December 1731, the Society had passed the following vote:
“Whereas the advanced age of our Revered Pastour and bodily Infirmities attending him in his Publick Ministry must in the Winter Season be overburdensome to him, Wee agree to Endeavour to provide Some Suitable person to assist him in his publick Ministry for the remaining part of the Winter.” Timothy died in April 1732.9
