Alexander Albert Weygand was also known as Albert Alexander Weygand. Early records of his life indicate that he had been given the name, "Alexander Albert," and he even signed himself as "Alexander" at 22 years of age. He reversed the names by 1919 and used the name of "Albert" as his first name. e.g. his marriage record shows his name as, and his tombstone reads, "Albert A."
