Some Background

Anny Mulloy was also known as Anna Mallory. Some of her descendants give their grandmother's maiden name as Anna Mallory. However her daughter Mary's baptismal registration gives her name as Anny Mulloy and one of the sponsors was Biddy (Bridget) Mulloy supporting this spelling over Mallory. ("Mallory" is not a name appearing in any of Ireland's R.C. church registries reviewed to date.)1
