She and George Edward DeLacy Corkum appeared on the 1881 Census of Canada, in Canning, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, enumerated 1881. George D. is a farmer. His Origin (nationality?) is reported as German; Sarah C.'s Origin (nationality?) is English, as is Elizza A.'s. All the rest of the children are enumerated on the following page and their Origins (nationalities) are shown as German. The entire family is Baptist.. Their children Elizabeth, Warren, Chesley, Harding and Birdie were listed as living with them.10
She appeared on the 1891 Census of Canada in Scots Bay, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, enumerated 25 April 1891. Sarah is listed as 46 years old, married, and the head of the household. Her children Warren, Chesley, Harding and Birdie were listed as living with her. The family is living next door to Joseph and Dorothy Corkum, Sarah's in-laws. Their son, Sarah's husband George Edward DeLacy Corkum, was probably living in Malden Massachusetts as he married Carrie C. Mann there in 1893.11
