The registry gives their names as Edward Harrigan and Margaret Finn, and this was the first marriage for each. Margaret's age is given as 22, Edward's age is given as 21 and his occupation is given as "crucible worker." He was probably employed at one of the silver factories located in Taunton... most notably Reed and Barton.
Margaret's parents are named as Nicholas and Kate; Edwards parents are named as Edward and Bridget.7,8
DeceasedHe died on 21 March 1914 in 20 Purchase St., Taunton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, at the age of 51. Edward died at home after an illness of several months.9,4

He and Margaret F. Harrigan appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Taunton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, at 33 Grove St., enumerated 1 June 1900. Edward and Margaret were renting their house. They had been married 16 years and Margaret had borne 7 children of whom 5 were living at the time of the census. Edward was working as a laborer. Their children Clara, Edward, Helena, Annie and Margaret were listed as living with them.5
He and Margaret F. Harrigan appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Taunton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, at 105 East Water St., enumerated 3 May 1910, Edward and Margaret were renting their house. They had been married 26 years and Margaret had borne 8 children of whom 6 were living. Edward was working as a laborer at the Gas House... and had worked the entire previous year. Their daughter Margaret (19 years old) was working as a chain maker in a jewelery shop; both Ann (17 yrs) and Clara (16 yrs) also worked in a jewelery shop´... Ann was a button maker and Clara was a press hand. Their children Margaret, Annie, Clara, Helena, Edward and Grace were listed as living with them.13
