BrideRuth Hamlin married Timothy Treat, son of Rev. Richard Treat and Susanna Woodbridge, on 13 March 1755 in Sharon, Litchfield Co., Connecticut Colony, New England. Ruth and Timothy were married in a double wedding; her older sister, Mary, and Timothy's older brother Richard celebrated their marriage at the same time. John Williams performed the marriages.6,7
