The 1871 and 1881 New Brunswick census returns show New Brunswick as the place of her birth; her Origin/Nationality is listed as "Irish". Her daughter's death certificate (information for which was provided by Wm Henry Warnock - son-in-law) indicates she was born in Ireland.3,4,5

DeceasedShe died on 22 August 1910 in Canning, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 83. According to the entry recording her death, Margaret was a resident of St. John W (sic) New Brunswick, but died in Canning, NS; she died after a "Longtime" liver ailment. (It also incorrectly records Nova Scotia as the place of her birth.)6

Marget and William Warnock appeared on the 1871 Census of Canada at Centreville, Kings Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, enumerated April 1871, 45 year old William was a farmer, married to Marget who was 42 years old. The entire family was born in New Brunswick, were Weslyan Methodists, and were English. Their children Eliza, Tressa, Captilo, Marget, Walter, Amos and John were listed as living with them. Tressa, Captilo, Marget A., and Walter were attending school.1

Their children Marget, Walter and Amos were listed as living with them. William is said to be a laborer as is his son Walter. The family's nationality is Irish; Marget's religion is Presbyterian, William and the children are Methodists.
     In Nova Scotia William's age is recorded as 56. He is married (but no family included in the listing), is a farmer, Irish, and a Canada Methodist.8,9

She and William Warnock appeared on the 1892 State Census of Saint John City, Saint John Co., New Brunswick, Canada, enumerated 16 April 1891, 66 year old William is shown married to 63 year old Margaret (Marget?). William was born in New Brunswick, his father and mother were born in Ireland. Marget and her parents were born in Ireland..10
