Francis and Rose Goole (Goold) are said to be the immigrant ancestors of one branch of the Massachusetts Gould family and were of Duxbury, 1643, later of Chelmsford. They were the parents of 12 children. Their children, Samuel, John, and Hannah are shown as among the founders of Dunstable.2
