BrideMary married Robert Stevens before 1639. Mary's maiden name is unknown, but she was perhaps the Widow Hatch. Robert made a bequest to "my daughter Mary Hatch as a remembrance of me five shillings", but he had earlier stated that Sarah (Stevens) Cleverly was his only daughter and sole heiress; perhaps Mary Hatch was the daughter of Robert's wife from a previous marriage.2
DeceasedShe died on 22 January 1692 in Braintree, Norfolk Co., Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England, "...being about 90years old".1,3

Mary was named executrix and an heir in the will of Robert Stevens dated 1 July 1682 in Braintree, Norfolk Co., Province of Massachusetts Bay, New England.
     The after-death inventory of his estate taken in December 1682 totalled £97 10s. 6d; it included real estate valued at £71 and "a sword" valued at 5s.4
