Their children James and Elizabeth were listed as living with them, Edward's age is shown as 26 years, 2 months, which would mean his birth was in April 1829, before the 20th of the month. Bridget's age was shown as 25 years and 2 months meaning a birth in April of 1830, also before the 20th of the month. Both were shown a born in Ireland; their 3 year old son James was born in Massachusetts, as was their 7 month old daughter Elizabeth.18
She and Edward Harrigan appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Taunton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, enumerated 1860. Their children James, Elizabeth, Eugene and Edward were listed as living with them. A 51 year old Zylpha Beaton is also included in the enumeration for this household. Edward's age is shown as 34 which would not be consistent with earlier and later census returns which would make his age actually closer to 30 years. Bridget's age of 30 years is consistent with the other census returns.19

Their son Joseph was not included in the family listing so presubably he had died... he would have been 3 years old in 1870.20
